The group's record label has stated that there is no truth to the malicious disbandment rumors. "2NE1's disbandment is a ridiculous story," YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun Suk told media outlet TenAsia,

However, fans kept on worrying for the female idol group. Observers have connected such rumors to Minzy's profile changes in her social media accounts, as well as reports that the group will not be attending year-ender shows as Park Bom needs to "reflect."

Meanwhile, despite previous announcement that 2NE1 will be abstaining from attending events, the group recently performed on American designer Alexander Wang's event in Shanghai, China. They performed some of their hit songs such as "Come Back Home," "I Am the Best," and "Gotta Be You."

After videos of their performance during the event were uploaded on the net, fans noticed that Dara was seemingly avoiding CL while on stage. Some were quick to assume that the two might be fighting.

Meanwhile, Dara uploaded a photo on her Instagram account taken from the group's most recent world tour "AON: All of Nothing." The photo shows Dara in tears while no one is comforting her. The 2NE1 member turned the matter into something funny, writing "After the show when I came down from the stage, the staff who worked so hard told me I did a great job. Because I had some mixed feelings, I cried without realizing how I looked.. But!! Currently, 2NE1 is on the lead for MAMA 2014's Best Female Group category. There is now news yet if the group will be attending the award ceremony on December 3.
