Background
Originating from "Islington", a community located in St. Mary which is deemed to be the poorest parish in Jamaica, Misa West is no stranger to struggles and hardships. During his years in the community he carried farm produce on foot for a distance of about 100 miles, countless times, just so that his aunt could go to market for their survival. After Misa West's aunt passed away he found solace in reggae music which then led him on a musical journey.
Misa West became a member of the civil service group. Presently a fire fighter and recording artist, it was through his determination and passion for music he managed to fund the production of his first independent reggae album "It Nuh Fair". Though, Misa West received press releases, performed at charity shows and had singles featured on iTunes chart......this was not enough to break his "chains of confinement". Misa West's work needed to reach a wider audience.
The release date for the album has not yet been set. Misa West is looking at the second quarter in 2016. The official release date will be announced depending on results of this campaign.
Misa West needs your support in the production of his new reggae album titled "SunShine". He is appealing to you to come on board and be a part of something meaningful. Help his message spread to the four corners of the world.
