do most people not support local music? 
not only that it seams like most people don’t leave the house anymore? you can go to the movies and eat out of the house a few times a week but you cant go to a show once in a blue moon? even when the cost of the ticket is half of a movie ticket and you get to see like 5 bands? it just doesn’t make sense. 
and i know there are a lot of people that cant afford things and people who are broke. as a broke person, i understand, but then why are you spending so much money on all that other stuff if a few bux it so much?

im just getting tired of all these people saying they support local music. but no one wants to buy a cheap ticket to a good show and see what these musicians are working their asses off for. as a matter of fact, the bands usually don’t even get the money back. the bands usually get a small percent that is sometimes enough to cover gas.

and im not just ranting about my band. other bands are having the same issues. they get a show and then NO ONE BUYS TICKETS. 

live music needs to stay alive. but with the attitude most people have now days, im a little scared to see where it goes. live music will never die completely because of course people are always gonna pay ridiculous prices to see live music being played at big arenas or whatever and see these famous people. but i really wonder, do people go and spend a shit  tone of money for the tickets and spend a shit tone of money on the cloths and spend a shit tone of money to see these famous people? or to hear their music? because i know i hear everyone complain about the prices of the tickets to these big shows, but they still go anyway. but they  cant spend a fraction of that money to see a few local peeps play? support the hard working musicians in their own home town and maybe give them a shot to take it to the next level?

this is just a musicians rant. nothing more. 

maybe things will change for live music, maybe they will get worse, maybe things will get better. but right now i dont know.

i guess the people that care will just have to wait, and see.
