Hello there, GNOtaku! Happy Spring!
I apologise if it seems I’ve dropped off the face of the earth—I’ve just been busy trying to record the next project and devise a few other things! How is your spring so far?
Spring found me at one of my favourite places: Bloomfest, the final celebration in the month or so of Cherry Blossom festivals at Newark’s Branch Brook Park! Our beautiful park boasts the largest collection of cherry blossoms in the United States. They are so beautiful when in full bloom. I never want to leave the park!
I took my cubs and my dancer, Peace with me. The cubs and I cosplayed a bit. I was trying to organize a meetup, since Sakura Matsuri in Brooklyn seems to have all these lovely cosplayers come out to take pix, but we ended up being the only ones out there. I probably lost members due to Castle Point Anime Con. We had a good time anyway!
The next album, “P.R.O.W.L.”, is coming along slowly but surely. I have been doing a lot of recording and rehashing and refining, which hopefully means a more well-rounded sound for you guys!
I also went to my first Cosplay Prom and performed for the promgoers! We are trying to organize something like that in my hometown. We had the idea to do it a few years ago, but never did it, but it now seems like the time, since I know for sure it will work!
Did you attend Free Comic Book Day in your town? I went for the second year in a row, and got to meet some amazing people!
