BACKSTORY: On Saturday, May 7th 48 kids traveled to Nashville, TN to record 8 songs at Starstruck Studios, thee world class recording studio owned by Reba McEntire. This was our most involved recording session to date...running 19 hours, from 8.00am to 3:00am. During which from 4pm to 7pm the students recorded Tangerine Dream's, 'Loved By The Sun' as featured in the classic 1986 Ridley Scott film 'Legend'. If you have ever seen the movie 'Legend' then you know just how amazingly unique and moving this song is! OMF CREW: Clemens Schleiwies / Mixing & Mastering Engineer Tom and Nick Inglin / Photography Todd Tidwell and Aaron Kasdorf / Tracking Engineers ABOUT US: This video was produced by The O'Keefe Music Foundation (OMF): OMF is a non-profit music organization based in Ohio, USA, with a mission to provide high quality music education to any child in the world for FREE! Why? Because art gives voice to our dreams and live music performance is becoming a dying art. Since 2006, OMF has helped over 1000 students make countless music videos… with over 80 million combined YouTube views! We were very excited to have Clemems mix and master the song because, like the original recording artists, he is also from Germany. Clemens transferred the song to analog tape and then mixed it on his vintage Helios console which is from Hansa, a world famous studio in Berlin.
