MYSTERIES OF LOVE REIMAGINED BY XORCIST (WWW.XORCIST.COM) 100% VOCALOID SYNTHETIC VOCALS MUSIC BY XORCIST - VIDEO ARRANGED BY XORCIST When I was around 5 years old, I came across one of my father's radio DJ records, "Music From Mathematics" (Google It) and that's when my fascination with electronic music and sound was born. The use of electronics to create voices also fascinated me. From early speech synthesizers (of which I also own an original Bell Labs Speech Synthesizer kit) to Vocoders, computer TTS and now Yamaha's Vocaloid system which after playing with it, blew me away. This song marks my homage to this rise of speech synthesis in musical form together with one of my favorite songs from the Blue Velvet soundtrack by Angelo Badalamenti and Julee Cruise. I created the video also using Vocaloid models so as to keep the entire song within that universe. While I admittedly did not take the months and months to learn and create with the MikuMikuDance modeling software (MMD), I have graciously borrowed from others who have created videos themselves via also borrowing models, backgrounds and for some, even the mocap data. These are patient and amazing people who one day when I have time, I'd love to join in the MMD universe. Given this is a cover, the song and video is free to download and share.
