AN intrepid Kidderminster man is set to take on a challenging hike in support of a cancer charity.
Jay Chadwick will be taking part in the Wye Valley 2020 Mighty Hike in an effort to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The charity is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.
It also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care.
People can support Jay by donating to his JustGiving page via justgiving.com/fundraising/jaychadwickrugby.
Chadwick who is training for the hike at Unique Fitness, Kidderminster said: "I raised £300 for STROKE association this year, so it would be brilliant to raise the same for Macmillan."
The 26-mile hike will take place on September 12 next year.
