My name is Dustin Bint (Mr Peculiar) 

I am an international touring artist that has been involved in producing dance music for the past 15 years.

Ive released 5 full albums and more than 40 individual tracks on labels from all over the world.

In 2004 i colaborated with visual artist (Shapeshifter) to create a fully syncronized computer animated video to acompany my music and try to push the boundrys of the audio/visual experience.

It was a great success and after all these years we would love to get the ball rolling on part 2.

With new technology advances in both music production and more powerful 3D animating software i believe the next syncrosect would be an amazing new project to push the level of synchronized music and video to the next level once more.

Without your help we we would be able to fund the production and release of this new adventure into the audio/visual world. 

The music we would love to make the movie to is a new style for Mr Peculiar but we think that it opens up amazing dreamscapes and inspires visuals that could be something truly amazing.

We are aiming to complete 5 tracks to start out with and hopefully we will be able to create a full 9 track album.

The songs run up to 10 minutes so each individual video can take up to 3 months to complete !

Mr Peculiar - Ritual

What We Need 

This is an exciting prospect.

When the original was released in 2004 computer animated videos were not very common and the project had a huge impact and was a revolutionary project.

We believe that the new syncrosect can really take this and take it ten steps further 

In a nutshell firstly we need to upgrade our old computers.

Its the core of the whole project and what we are running on now is over 4 years old and defiantly not up to the challenge of such a cpu intensive vision.

Half of the requested money ($2000) would be going towards upgrading the system and if we are so lucky to be over budget, the extra funds would go towards purchasing a render farm so we are able to cut rendering times down by as much as possible.

$1000 - 2000  of the money would go towards updating our outdated software to newer versions so we are able to use the latest state of the art music and 3d software.

A lot of the newer versions of the software we use have MAJOR time saving upgrades built in and could cut the working time of the project up to 50% !.

The remaining  $1000 would go towards website/printing/publishing and promotion of the completed DVD.

We understand not everyone is albe to contribute financially so any type of help such as promoting this page to people you may think (or not) would be interested in helping the project get under way would be amazing.
