RiverSystem Richard Willis Chepstow Hi my name is Richard Willis aka River System. I've had that name since my 3rd year of college when I formed my first band doing covers of such bands as The Counting Crows, Bob Dylan and The Cranberries, so you get an idea of what type of music I listen to at home, I also listen to Classic Rock and a Bit of Prog as well. I have been playing the guitar since I was 18 when my college music teacher encouraged me to learn and perform. I mainly play chords as I've never really learnt all the solo stuff as I found it quite hard to do but some are good at virtuoso but as B.B King put it on U2's Rattle and Hum DVD "I'm horrible with chords." So I say I'm horrible at Solo's. I mainly write lyrics and use my electro acoustic to put music to them, I also tinker with an electric. To Record my music I use a Steinberg UR22 Mk ii with an Aston Condenser microphone and Cubase as my DAW.
