Maxdmyz is a five-piece alt metal band based in London, England.

Our careers, as individuals, have encompassed industrial, grunge, rock, blues, jazz, goth, punk and various shades of grunge and metal – black, death, progressive, thrash, etc, etc.

The band, itself, has also gone through different musical styles, from guitar-driven drum-and-bass to house-inspired metal anthems -- but the sound has always been dark, passionate and heavy.

We all love to play live -- we were one of the first bands around to use angle-grinders, chainsaws and the like on stage.

We've ditched the props but remain a compelling and exciting live act. We've played in loads of places, starting at London venues such as The Underworld and The Dome, to venues in Europe and beyond.

The band has increased its profile in recent years, notably with The Hate Plane album in 2014, the Alchemical Metal EP in 2017, and the Anatomy of Power album in 2020.

We are, above all, music enthusiasts with a deep love of our craft and of the decades of music which precede us -- and we're so grateful to the people who buy our records and merch, come to our gigs, and really make it all happen.

Our music, particularly on this latest album, is hard, riffy, passionate, soulful, groovy, catchy... and will appeal to fans of Anthrax, Dream Theater and well beyond, we hope... 'nuff said.
