"Keep an eye out for this lady; she is going places. " -The Wig Fits All Heads, Seattle.

Three critically acclaimed EPs  later I have finally found my dream producer I have been looking  for since Day One to make my first full length album with and I am looking for funding to make it happen.

I was all set , with money (almost) in hand to go to NY in October to spend 3 days writing and solidifying the tracks with John but the funds fell through. But, that's OK. I'm well versed in getting back on horses and riding them. I  am already packed! So I am sticking my neck out and asking you to help me get there despite all the barriers. Will you do so?

The songs will ultimately be played and recorded with musicians of reknown  then released far and wide with plans to reignite the flame in the UK where my music has done traditionally well. But, more on that later as the first step has to be taken.

For years I have known the exact type of producer I needed to really move things to  new level and I have found him.  John Ashton is the original guitarist with The Psychedelic Furs known best by their hit song "Pretty in Pink" and that is who I will be working with. I really cannot think of anyone more fitting.  John has toured the world, been on Letterman  (playing one of my fave Furs songs) and American Bandstand. He is entirely in posession of the Midas touch and I can't wait to fully realize my potential as he waves his magic wand in the studio.  In fact, as I write this, tonite I am going to see The Furs live here in Portland as I have done for many years in a row.  I love knowing the man who wrote the songs I will hear loves my voice and music enough to want to work side by side and has become a friend.   Its cool. Really, really cool.

John has also worked with Marianne Faithfull and Sisters of Mercy among others and has an all-star project now of his own Satellite Paradiso.

Making music can be a tough haul. As you can see in the video I try to keep a sense of humor.  For 13 years I have single-handedly put and kept the show on the road through all of the ups and downs. There have been triumps and tragedies alike (I weave these stories in throughout my website if you'd like to visit.)  It is merely part and parcel.  But when people tell me my music makes them feel, brings the son out in places like otherwise dreary London, when fans at shows come hug me and thank me for giving them something that makes them feel alive and when the press champions me with conviction  that "her arrival on the ‘bigger’ stage is imminent"  I know to keep going for, to me, art and music is what makes the world go round.

And now its time to make it spin faster.  Your help will give it the swift kick it needs so thank you.
