The small Texas town of Grove Springs is in big trouble. The government has secretly been using this quiet community as a test site since World War II. With the recent opening of the new 2 billion dollar Night Lab run by theoretical forensic psychiatrist Professor Mylon Wavermeyer, PhD., strange events have been happening in town. People and animals are turning up missing and citizens are reporting seeing strange creatures prowling the area.
Constable Chris Carson, along with his faithful deputies Tote Bennington and Marvella Jones, find that they are in way over their heads. To combat whatever is plaguing their town, these officers of the law recruit all the outside help they can gather. Along the way, Constable Carson assembles an eclectic team including a mysterious Native American tracker named Little Bear, the famous exotic animal trapper Hunter Hathaway, along with Hathaway's two bumbling henchmen Snake and Whacker.
Night Lab is a scary, yet often exciting and humorous story of small town Americans just trying to survive one crisis after another and somehow managing to save their town by accident.
