Reed dipped in the light reflected in a pool of ink.
My quill dripped black tears of
rumors,
never breathed or spilled.
Extorted, and it never ends.
How can I share the light of a candle that’s been snuffed?
A prickly wall of Hooker’s Orchid.
Cactus, no thorns,
Queen of the Night,
Dark white.
Wilts in the mourning of night.
Wilts in the brightness of morning.
Teach me to grieve,
my magic blossom.
One more time
let’s sing the song of our Flower,
Who blooms only in our darkest of hours.
One more time,
let us dance to the sunset and
close our eyes.
Believe in the supernatural,
Die in the sunrise.
