Please help us fix our car

We need to fix our car. This is the only means of transportation my family has and it's at the point where it's not safe to drive. I cannot allow my wife and kids to be at risk but unfortunately i'm not able to afford repairs. The front break disks, excel strurs, calipers and break rotors need te be replaced. Between parts and laborit all comes to $2000. We have no way to pay for this with our bills, not to mention food. I don't want to resort to this but i don't know what else to do. This car is the only way for my wife and kids to get around. Please help us.
