Lil'4 Jeremy Williams Newport News Born December 28,1988 in a small town; Navasota, Texas and was raised in a major city; Houston, Texas. Jeremy Williams was born to Janice Marie where they lived on the North-side of Houston. There the artist found his passion for music. The sounds of Houston’s artist such as, Phat Pat, DJ Screw, Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Trae The Truth, and many other local artists influenced the young hip-hop artist. It wasn’t until the artist witnessed his god-brother Rodney Coleman recording music of his own. Jeremy was then inspired by Rodney and began to create his own lyrics. Over a period of time the young artist developed a unique style and sound of his own, which was different than the usual Texas rhythm. Jeremy joined a duo at the age of 13 with childhood friend Tony Woodard. They used a karaoke machine to record their hot lyrics. The artist moved away from the city and then was given a nickname due to his residency in the Houston area. He was known as Lil’4 and soon became popular by the people’s demand Williams would take his mother’s computer out of her room to record tracks without her permission. Later Ms. Janice was tired of fighting with her son and gave him the computer, which he recorder his first mix tape ‘Watch Me’. In mid 2000s Williams recorded tracks with various local artists. He remained focused with the intents to be heard on the radio and known around the world. Williams put a record label together name Clique Tight Records with his best friends Brice Bennett and Zerrick. They began to perform shows in 2008 at local parties and events. Brice later suffered a fatality in late 2011 and Williams continued to make music with hopes of pursuing his career. He dedicated a track to Brice, which was written, in his memory ‘Better Days’. Williams also writes and engineers his own music and also music for others.
