Sounds Good Stereo

Went there to get some options and a quote for a simple stereo setup in my car. Two speakers, an amp and stereo deck. They quoted $1100 for the system and $1200 for the install!?!? Amost $3000 after tax and 'additional expenses' WTF? Thanks but no thanks. I'll do it myself. What a ripoff.

Alex is an amazing talented car mechanic. He was able to fix my car, and he also did it in such a timely manner and was such a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be back here if I need more work done on my car. I had an issue with my car radio and the dealership was the worst to deal with Alex guaranteed me he delt with this issue before and he fixed it in just a few minutes! Sage and the crew from Sounds Good Stereo installed a Sony XAV-AX200 stereo in my 2009 Tacoma. They did an amazing job. The fit and finish is perfect and looks like it was factory installed. I can use my Apple Car Play to send and receive texts and answer the phone right from my steering wheel. They mapped the volume down button to prompt Siri, its that easy!!! They take great pride in their work and it shows. Go to Sounds Good Stereo if you want true professional installation at a fair price. I will always use Sounds Good Stereo.

These guys are professional and extremely knowledgeable about their craft , also they were able to get me in and out quicker then a oil change for my install . Had a aux installed in my r8 and left with exactly what I wanted , also was giving additional quotes on future installs I inquired about with no bs . Very Knowledgeable and great understanding of what I wanted . Check these guys out if you want quality !

Hate to leave a bad review but at this point I have to share. I originally got a stereo installed at their old location for my Porsche Cayman. Everything went great. Service was great and they even let me bring in a stereo I bought somewhere else. No issues with the radio. And I was very plead 5 STARS ALL the way.

Fast forward about a year. One of my rear speakers blew. They were the first people I thought of based on my last experience. While I was there, I decided to also add an HDMI plug in for my iPhone. Toto waste of money. Ever since then, I constantly get an error message when plugging in my phone. Forget about the HDMI plug. It is set up in a place in the center console that I can barely reach. Slight move of the cord and it won't project on my screen. I really feel it was rushed and could've been done better. I went there twice which is mission to get to at their new location coming from Miami. They said my system needed to be updated. They did an update and I still get the same error every now and than. As far as the HDMI, it's useless as I can't even use it.

I am going to another place today in hopes that they can fix it.

Again I don't know what happened. Subs I got them at a bad time the second time around. Maybe I wasn't spending enough money. Either way, no excuse and it's a shame because I really liked these guys.

Getting a high-quality modern headunit is no small matter. Newer ones have rear USB, parking brake detection, and GPS antennas, in addition to all the stuff older ones did. A newer cars existing headunits can often have separate components for things like XM Radio and Bluetooth.

I bought a stereo online and was looking for a professional company in Miami to install mine. I thought that this place, with their competitive quote competent looking employee and convenient location would be a good oportunity. I was of course completely wrong.

These people were terrible:

At first they didn't disconnect my old car's bluetooth unit, so I had to drop my car off again while they slowly fixed that problem.

Later, after my stereo began making a rattling sound I took appart my dashboard myself to discover that important screws had NOT been put back in!!

I'm going to have to suck up my loss and go buy some extra screws at Home Depot because I don't even want to go back there after the horrible service I've experienced.

Go anywhere else but here.

Great selection if high end gear and a super knowledgable staff with some serious fabrication talent.

Sage is the best! I came back two and a half years later without an appointment because I had a loose connection. Sage came out and took care of it immediately and had me back in business. When I inquired about the charge he replied "It's under warranty"! Thank you Sage, it is a pleasure doing business with you.

Since Jonny and Carlos left this place went down the drain, i wanted to install a by pass and fix my Bluetooth that was not working, i made an appointment a week before, and even called same day to confirm, the manager told me everything was good, well well, they wasted my time, i drove all the way from home and the guy told he didnt have the require part to complete the job, they could not even clear the Bluetooth memory, he apologized and said will call me at the next day, well after 6 months writing this review im still waiting lol, i took my car to Ciros and they fixed for less money and in the same day. I will never again go there.

Terrible customer service. I called on Thursday to set up an appointment. They said they were busy till next week in a rude manner. I ask them when they have an available appointment and the man said Monday at 9am. I scheduled the appt with him and took time off work and wait an hour outside and the business never opened. I have called four times and there is no answer or mention of why they are closed. Very unprofessional, I will never return.
