"Imagination is the mainspring of every artist's actions."
— T. Kantor
For me, the main source of imagination and inspiration is theatre – a space that goes beyond the stage itself, focusing on the people, their emotions, and the stories unfolding within it. Theatre, both as a viewer and as an artist, has become the most important source of my spiritual experiences and creative exploration. To me, these two aspects – being a spectator and being a creator – are equally important.
My artistic journey began in this world, where it wasn’t the stage that caught my attention, but the human stories, their struggles, joys, fears, and hopes. This deep connection to the human condition runs through all of my work. I am inspired by the human body, its energy and unique beauty, but also by its complex nature, full of emotions, inner tensions, and experiences.
The paintings I create do not attempt to literally replicate reality but become a space formed from my own experiences and feelings. It is an exploration of human nature, emotions, and sensual experiences that becomes the first step in creating the scenic reality of my works.
