The glass is obviously not the go-to material for the job since glass is very easy to break when exposing to a massive amount of heat in a short period of time, so almost all the manufacturers go with quartz to make a dish for containers.
Just like a quartz banger, the dish can withstand extremely high temperature and quite easy to clean. Some prefer to dab from a silicone jar, that’s just personal choices, silicone jars work the same.
