The first step is to go to scalacube.com/free/minecraft/server/hosting and click on "Get Your Free Minecraft Server".

An activation code will be sent to the email address that you registered on the website.
Once you have the Confirmation code Copy it into the box and click "Continue".
Your free server registration process is now complete. This page shows the "Renew for Free" button. If this is not completed the server will be taken down and all its data deleted. A new server must be purchased from the beginning.
Then next, click "Manage server".
Only the Snapshot and Basic versions of Minecraft can be installed on servers that are free. Select your server, click on "Select" and then "Install" and wait until the process is completed.
Your Free server and it's Features
The free server, compared to premium servers is limited in its configuration. If we click on "Monitoring", we can see the existing server and its usage of resources at the present time.
If we return to "Game servers" and click "Manage" we can see the main hub for your Free Minecraft server.
This is where you can turn off, restart, wipe the map, players, or delete an existing server.
If we click "Console", we can see the console for your free Minecraft server, which allows you to use administrative commands, or view what's happening on your server at the present moment.
If we click the "Become admin" tab we can input the name of the Minecraft player you'd like to have administrative commands within the game.
If we go to "Settings", we can alter the configuration settings for the server.properties file, which includes game modes, level types, amount of players, whitelist seed, spawn-protection and seed and many more.
