Men's Watches - A Simple Way To Add Style

There are many factors to consider when buying a watch for men. Although most men should own at least three watches, we won't go into detail about why. The truth is that most men only want one watch and will continue to wear it no matter what.

I'm a professional who works in a corporate building. A watch that blends in with my day's outfit is my choice. It is thin and easy to wear. When I take my wife to dinner, I wear a more flashy watch that speaks volumes about me. I prefer a casual watch for weekends. It doesn't matter whether I use it to bang against the lawnmower, or in a swimming pool.

These are the choices you have to make

1) What price range do you prefer? 3) Is it an investment piece? 4) Do I want a universal watch or several, depending on the situation? 5) What's my style?

1) What price point should I set?

You don't have to spend a lot to get a high-quality watch. Do not be deceived by $50-priced watches. These watches are junk and won't last.

A decent watch can be had for as low as $500. But that is up to you. You can find watches at every price point - all you have to do is decide where you stand.

2) Which materials are you most fond of?

Would I prefer a leather bracelet? What about a metal bracelet? Are you looking for gold or stainless steel? Do I want a 12 diamond inner working face with a jewel or will a white dial suffice?

These are the questions one should ask before shopping. All of these questions are answered by the truth: "Yes." Leather bands are wonderful. You can wear them casually or formal. Jewels can be very flashy so they should not be displayed on watches you don't want to wear. Gold is more traditional than white and black, which are both conservative.  Android Watch For Men

3) Is it an investment piece?

The majority of people say no. However, some watches do increase in value. A Rolex Daytona that is well maintained will usually last a lifetime and appreciate in value. If your watch is not a rare or collectible, you can take good care of it and it will last a lifetime. You might pass it on to a loved one, or keep it for yourself.

4) Do I want a universal watch or several, depending on the situation?

You must ask this question. I have already talked about my personal situation. If you are looking for one watch, I recommend something simple and fun. A TAG Heuer might be a good choice. These watches are extremely well-built, stylish and affordable. I'd choose the dial color that you like and keep the stainless steel links. If you don't like the look of stainless steel links but still desire a watch with a single dial, I recommend a brown leather-banded watch. Any other watch is too specific for the situation that it can't be worn in every setting.

5) What's my style?

Are you flashy? Are you conservative? Outdoorsman? Cube Dweller

No matter what your taste, find a watch that complements it. If they are looking for something more specific, a watch that is diamond-crusted is not necessary. A farmer might wear a Rolex. Watches should be useful. Wearing a watch that is only a calculator to work in a nightclub is not acceptable. You get my drift.
