Footsteps was recorded in a small apartment in the Borne area of Barcelona. It was a pretty sweet setup, with rug covered floor tiles, coffee cups and just enough sunlight creeping through the windows. A nice environment to work in which helped make the EP feel a little more human.
The EP features five tracks, a mix of old and new songs that were written over the last couple of years. They all come together on this album, and focus on exploring and unearthing those personal discoveries that ultimately help us grow... or take "footsteps" in life.

Josh Parker was born near Hebden Bridge, a small market town in Yorkshire. Parker was inspired by the local folk artists
surrounding him.
A voice raspy and raw, his vulnerability and innocence are the roots of what makes his performances special. Think folksy acoustic, with a jazz and blues influence.
Now in Barcelona, he is finding new experiences and perspectives to aid his song writing.
