KFJC participates once again in Vinylthon, celebrating vinyl records of all shapes, colors, and sizes. KFJC has a huge vinyl library containing tens of thousands of records, so be sure to tune in to hear the gems that our DJs spin!

KFJC co-presents The Golden Gate Chapter of the Vintage Volkswagen Club of America's 40th Annual Spring Meet at History San Jose at Kelley Park in San Jose. KFJC DJs will be spinning live at the event!

We will be speaking about programs and events at Foothill College, including an Alumni Hall of Fame dinner this October: Juice Newton, Adrienne Barbeau, Mrs. Fields, Wayne Wang, and Jon Nakamatsu are just a few of the notable Foothill alumni. Foothill College has a number of programs to help you continue your education or start a new career. Dr. Whalen is the 8th President for Foothill College and a big fan of the San Francisco Giants. Com£♡ (Compound Love) and Transient, a rare collaboration between both artists in 13 years!
From Japan, Com£♡ experimental, ambient, modular synth artist Masao "Mickey T" Tachibana, founder of the former & legendary SF Drum Machine Museum (late 90's to mid 2000s), Now based in Kanazawa, Mickey T co-founded Soundscape Kanazawa.
Transient is the experimental/ambient/noise/shoe-gaze/industrial/doom project of David R. Molina, an award winning composer, sound artist/designer, and multi-instrumentalist who created music for social justice focused performing arts and multi media production. Tune in for a live set on Wednesday April 16th, 2pm!

Local surf bands will play short sets in Smithwick Theater on the Foothill College campus (free parking, campus map).  A super fun event where the surf music community says thanks to KFJC for its support, all ages welcome. $20 donation at the door benefits KFJC. Audio and video will be streamed and broadcast live!  Save the date!
Bands performing include Young Barons, Surf Monster, Buzzy Frets, The GnarlyMen, Del Novas, The New Shockwaves, The Seismics, The Reefriders, The Bloat Floaters, Frankie and the Pool Boys, the Reverbivores and Pollo del Mar!

Join us at the Earth Day/Beach Clean-up event at Poplar Beach in Half Moon Bay sponsored by the San Mateo chapter of the Surfrider Foundation.  KFJC DJs will be spinning and Frankie and The Pool Boys will play from 10am to noon.  Audio and video will be streamed and broadcast live!
