Danny Zuko’s aka “FliRock” Biography
Danny Zuko, born Ryan Washington on March 17, 1990 in Washington D.C., is an aspiring recording artist. Growing up he was introduced to music at an early age. Between his mother singing in the choir and his father’s vast CD and Vinyl collection, it was inevitable that music would play an important role in his life. Zuko credits his mother for his vocal abilities; however his love for music was inherited from his father. Everyone from Sam Cook, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Kenny G and Heavy D, Zuko appreciates music from every genre of music. As a teenager Danny Zuko became a huge fan of Go-Go Music, he sang lead vocals for two bands; M.A.B (Most Anticipated Band) and Platinum Band. Unfortunately, neither effort got off the ground. Continuing to write music and poetry in his spare time, he began singing backup vocals for local Hip-Hop/Soul artist Dre Black. There he learned stage presence, professionalism, the art of song writing, and entered the recording studio for the first time as a solo artist. It was there that Zuko knew he wanted to pursue a career in music full time. He credits Tupac, Michael Jackson, and Kanye West amongst others as artists who have influenced him musically and personally. With a great work ethic that matches his talent there is no doubt that Danny Zuko is an artist that is quickly on the rise.
