We are a Blues Rock / Classic Rock Band from the Rochester, NY / Finger Lakes area. Our five piece band includes experienced musicians with diverse backgrounds that have come together to play tunes for your entertainment. Our song list includes favorites from Eric Clapton, The Doors, Stevie Ray Vaughn, ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix and Joe Cocker. The band features riff-oriented rock guitar, powerful vocals flavored with a bluesy rasp, the classic rock-organ sound, and driving bass and drum rhythms that all do justice to the blues rock genre. So come check us out….It will be like rolling a 7 every time you Roll The Dice. RTD Member Bios: Joseph Dansbach III: Lead Guitar Joe is the lead guitarist and founder of the band. He has learned over the years to tweak his tube-based amp to give that warm sound without too much distortion. This sound, which allows the audience to hear every note of his soulful licks, keeps Joe rockin and keeps the band rollin. Joe’s musical influences include Eric Clapton, Robbin Ford, Jimi Hendrix and the 3 kings: Albert, BB and Freddie. Jim LeDuc: Bass - Vocals Jim is a North Country guy who formerly played with the Band Vacant Lot (in the Late 60s). Jim is a solid bass player whose steady notes help keep the back line tight. His bass guitar influences include Tommy Shannon, Jack Bruce, Duck Dunn, Mike Porcaro, and George Hawkins Jr. Favorite bands / artists include Cream, Clapton, Doobie Brothers, Eagles, Toto, CCR, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Don Brown: Harmonica - Cowbell Don is back rockin after taking a 30 year hiatus to get married and raise a family. His versatile voice has the character needed for this genre and his harmonica playing gives the band a unique sound. Attended the cowbell institute of America (did not actually obtain a degree). Don’s musical influences include The Who, The Guess Who, Yes, The Kinks and The Stones. Dave Fordon: Drums Dave has been playing drums for 30 years. 1st major influence was Buddy Rich. Other influences were Neil Peart,Jon Bonham, and Stewart Copeland. Bands played in throughout the years....Livewire in the 80's....Mista Bones and No Tolerance in the 90's...and The Willie Shutter Band in this century, Jack Moses: Keyboards and Vocals: Desk job by day, music self-study by night. My mother and her best friend were both piano teachers so all us kids had no choice! We all took lessons from her friend. The friends kids from my mother. Developed an interest in jazz piano as an adult and now work to learn the art of keys in many ways. Enjoy the Classic Blues and Rock. Influenced by Ben Folds, Billy Joel, Dr John, and so many others.
