THE CONCEPT
Hi,
We're KaustiK. We play heavy metal,
and have done so for the better part of a decade all around the country. You
may remember us from such campaigns as none...We've never done this before to
be honest. However, we have done quite a bit of research, and decided that this
was the best way to get you guys the perks we wouldn't otherwise be able to get
out. Not everyone has the financial backing to put out big releases, all of the
coolest merchandise available, and go on tour around the world. That's why
we're asking for you to come along with us and make this EP (or "extended
play" in case you were wondering (it just means short album)) special for
you, the fans, as well as for us. We will only make what you want. Every penny
counts towards our goal of putting out the newest music, raddest merch, and
most innovative ideas we can come up with. For example, this EP will be available
on a USB wristband, which we refer to quite often above. You can then use the
wristband/storage device to put the music on any device that you, or your
friends, may have. We are not the first people to do this, but we thought it
was a cool idea that we would actually want, and buy. So, as fans ourselves, we
thought you might want something new also. The new songs are not only already
written, they are already recorded. The only thing we need help funding is
getting the music out there.
Hopefully these kinds of options to the
availability of music on different formats will catch on and boost some
interest in buying, as opposed to pirating, sweet new tunes. We're all sick of
hearing how the music industry is doing so poorly. Let's do something about it,
and make the stuff that you want, and go play for fans wherever they may be.
ALBUM RELEASE
Regardless of whether or not we hit our goal here, the album will drop on October 28, with a killer release party at the Whisky a Go Go in hollywood on Oct. 27. So, once the campaign ends, we will print everything offered here, and you, the fans, should be getting all the sweet fresh gear you ordered two weeks before the release date. Thats before anyone on the streets will even see it. Not to mention no one will be able to get the t-shirt design offered here anywhere else, ever again!

PERK DISCLAIMERSAllow up to two weeks after the closing date of the campaign for orders to BEGIN shipping. After all, we still need to make all the stuff you just ordered.
All printed images designs, and colors are subject to slight changes due to printing and materials.
Make sure to include what sizes you want you shirts, sweatshirts, and vests to be. All are available, but we are not mind readers. That would be rad though...
Guitar lessons will be for a song from this release only, and up to one hour. We will do our best to fulfill lessons in a timely manner. Please have some patience, we're musicians.
For
us to text a picture to you, you will have to include your phone number
when you donate. KaustiK will not use it for solicitation purposes,
give it out to any individuals, or agencies, or use it for any purpose
other than the one time use stated above.
Age limitations supersede VIP pass at venues, and may restrict some access to shows. We will do our best, but the law is the law. Not 21? Probably can't get you into a show at a bar. We will happily meet you outside for pictures and a hang sesh though :)
We, KaustiK, may not actually deliver any packages to you directly in person. If you are close by our area we'll be happy to, but if you live in say, Tanzania, probably not since our hover boards are all in the shop right now....
