Another rampage on the frontpage, newspape, soon waste, who reads this anyway? So many things wrong in this world today, sometimes I wish it'd all just go away. Great recession and endless debts to repay, anti-gay protests, and mary J dismay, hate crime, suicide, a bomb went off today, I try to block it out but there's no escape...
Cause when all you hear about is murder and rape, the wrath of grapes, GMOs, and police state technology...
But I'm feeling so Splendid
I always hope I'd feel this way before life ended.
With you by my side, everything is quite alright.
Report on the TV makes me queasy: civilians gunned down for protesting tyranny, sometimes I cannot understand humanity, live let be, get along, it should be so easy, but it's not and we are our own worst enemy, whose to say to whom it's best to pray? Terrorists, outbreaks, armageddon dates, it's like I'm shark bait and I can't swim away...
It's the pressure that leads to the pleasure. It's the bitter pain that leads to sweet gain. It's about the system we use to measure: objective truth is well lubed.
I grew up with lots of luck the ugly duck always told that I suck it took a long time to earn a buck. Work hard develop skills learn to pay the bills, made my own, fail and then fail more. I almost died but I survived enjoying life, the blood of four strangers kept me alive. Life is a series of choices and consequences, there is no destiny set in stone, the legacy you choose to leave behind is yours to own.
